Half-left has designed yet another great theme for Gnome Shell. His latest theme is based on the look of Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin and it looks really beautiful.

Instructions

Use User Theme Extension and Gnome Tweak Tool to switch Gnome Shell themes. Gnome Tweak Tool can be installed from Ubuntu Software Center. User Theme extension can be installed by running commands below:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:satyajit-happy/themes
sudo apt-get update

Satya has updated his his Gnome Shell theme 'Shine' making it compatible with latest Gnome 3.4 and Ubuntu 12.04.

Shine is a light theme that nicely blends transparency and usability, with smooth transition effects between different elements.

Gnome Shell Elementary Luna is one of the most popular themes by half-left and it has been updated recently to support Gnome 3.4 and Ubuntu 12.04.

Orion is a modern light theme for Gnome 3 based on the Unico engine. It supports Gnome Shell, Unity, XFCE and Openbox and is compatible with the latest GTK 3.4. A GTK 2.0 theme using Murrine engine is also included.

The latest version of Orion theme have following changes:
  • Improved sidebar view, added support for beatbox, added openbox theme
  • Updated for Gnome 3.4 and Ubuntu 12.04

Run the following commands to install Orion theme:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:satyajit-happy/themes
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install orion-gtk-theme

Use Ubuntu Tweak, My Unity or Gnome Tweak Tool to change the theme.

Satya who designed many cool GTK3 and Gnome Shell themes has recently released/updated 3 new themes - Gaia, Elementary Dark and Orion.

You can easily install these themes from a PPA. To add the PPA, run these commands and then follow instructions below.

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:satyajit-happy/themes
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gnome-shell-extensions-user-theme

Gnome Shell - Gaia

Gaia Shell is clean and beautiful theme for Gnome Shell inspired by the Gaia project. It tries to represent the colors of nature while maintaining a clean and aesthetic look. Gaia Shell is compatible with the latest Gnome Shell 3.2.
Tiheum, who created the popular Faenza Icon Set for Linux has designed a beautiful new Gnome Shell Theme based on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich UI.

Some beautiful new Gnome Shell themes were out last week. As always these themes are presented by Satya, Half -Left and Alecive, who also designed the Awoken icon theme.

Ultra

ULTRA by half-left is a slick, dark theme  for GNOME Shell inspired by ULTRA 2 Wallpaper.
Prismas is a collection of opaque Gnome Shell themes by plaidcounty. These themes are available in many different colors: blue, grey, green, orange, purple, pink, and red.

Shine and Dark Shine, as the name suggests are light/dark Gnome Shell themes by Satya.
Aqua is a simple and clean light theme for Gnome Shell 3.2. This theme is made by Satya who also designed Evolve GTK3 theme for Gnome Shell and Unity.

Tron Legacy Gnome Shell theme by half-left, which has inspired many other themes has been updated to work with latest Gnome Shell 3.2.
Team Fortress 2 Gnome Shell theme by Alfy102, as the name suggests is based on popular multiplayer game Team Fortress 2. The theme features similar colors and style found in TF2 game UI.
