humanity icons colors

A while back we've posted an article about Ambiance & Radiance Colors, a theme pack that provides Ambiance and Radiance available in 8 different colors. Well, since then matching GNOME Shell themes were added and the GTK themes got some fixes from Light Themes Evolved, like a dark sidebar for Nautilus or unified menu and titlebar.

The themes are beautiful, but a theme pack is not really complete unless you have a matching icon theme, so Jared, the Ambiance & Radiance Colors Theme Pack author, has released a recolord Humanity Icon theme called "Humanity Icons Colors", which comes in 8 colors, with support for both dark and light panels: blue,  graphite, green, orange, pink, red, yellow and purple.

And of course, the new icons look great with Ambiance & Radiance Colors. Here are a few screenshots:

Ubuntu Game Icons, a project by Artificial Intellegence provides high resolution CD cover like icons for your favorite Ubuntu games. These icons are really beautiful and the entire pack includes 110 512x512 icons for commercial as well as free games plus one bonus icon for Desura.

Awoken icon theme 2.2

AwOken, an amazing Gnome (works great with both Gnome 2 and Gnome 3) icon theme was updated yesterday, getting support for Gnome Shell tray icons. Faience icon theme

Tiheum, who is best known for the Faenza icon theme and Equinox GTK themes has started working on a new icon theme for GNOME 3 / GNOME Shell called "Faience". The theme is work in progress (this is the first public release) and it currently depends on the original Faenza for many icons, but it looks really promising and it already comes with 3 folder color variations.

Rho from seekngeek, has created a Faenza icon pack for the LibreOffice toolbar, based on Kado20es' work. The icon pack is still in beta but it looks great already:

LibreOffice Faenza Icon pack will only replace the LibreOffice toolbar icons with Faenza monochrome icons and will not affect the LibreOffice application icons. Also, you don't have to use Faenza as the system icon theme to use the LibreOffice Faenza icons!

Installation

Firstly, download LibreOffice Faenza Icons Mod in your home folder and then run the commands below, depending on how you've installed LibreOffice:

- for LibreOffice installed from the official Ubuntu repositories or the LibreOffice PPA:
